Brrrrrrr!!

We are back in the swing of things already! Our time at home was short but sweet. Nicki came back up to Ohio on December 30 with her sister and nephew to help her settle back in. They explored Columbus and enjoyed watching the Preds beat the Blue Jackets! Greta slid back in on Sunday evening.

There is no settling in slowly this quarter! We had two classes on Monday (after waiting in line for an hour to get a parking pass). The list of assignments to be completed by March 15 set our heads spinning. We were shell-shocked last night. We have our Reading Recovery class tonight from 4:30 - 7:00 and other trained teachers from this area will be with us. We are hoping the syllabus for this class doesn't put us over the edge!

See all that snow in the picture? It snows nearly every day and temps are around 22 for the high and 10 for the low. And they're not even thinking about closing or even delaying schools. The average snowfall for Columbus is 25 inches!! Nicki obviously took the advice that the uglier the hat, the warmer it was, and Greta is ready for any snow emergency with her handy-dandy snow brush and scraper!!!
